A group of students have one week to prepare an environmental project and come upon the idea of creating stories that will pass on an ecological message. We see these new ‘myths’ enacted on stage but also watching is an aged oak tree on the local recreation ground, which desires its own say…
Employing several different strands of theatre, from naturalism to choric speaking, Paving Paradise articulates our relationship with the natural world with equal measures of drama, charm and humour.

A deeply haunting saga of love, betrayal and hypocrisy gradually unfolds as ghosts from the past come back to haunt the living.

Then the gymkhana begins with our lady riders, riding side saddle, compete with the gentlemen in games including polo, pig sticking and the famous “teapot dash”. The display concludes with one of our lady riders attempting the “Victorian leap” – an amazing display of skill and bravery as attempts to jump – glass of wine in hand – a fully set table! Will she make it? You’ll have to come and see for yourselves. The red coat military men of the Green Howards will also be re-enacting a recruiting party and drill squad
