Local artists take centre stage in vibrant new exhibition

A new art exhibition, The Gallery Presents, is shining a spotlight on talented local artists, offering them a unique platform to share their work with the public. Running until November 2025, the exhibition brings together a diverse range of creative voices, transforming The Georgian Theatre Royal’s Gallery Bar into a dynamic space filled with inspiring artwork.

Featuring original pieces from artists including Coral Lincoln, David Lawrence, David Palmer, Helen Bowler, Jackie Moody, Jane Dennis, Jennifer Batchelor, Jessica Fleming, Laura Jayne Morris, Lauren Gillan, Lukas Jones, Michelle Emmerson, Sarah Gruffydd, Sarah Nolson, and Susan Walgate, the exhibition provides an exciting opportunity for visitors to discover and purchase unique works while supporting local talent.

The initiative aims to foster a strong connection between artists and the wider community, allowing their creativity to reach new audiences. With its central location and rich history, The Georgian Theatre Royal attracts visitors from across the country, providing valuable exposure for those exhibiting their work.

Admission to The Gallery Presents is free, and the exhibition is open during the Theatre’s Box Office hours, Monday to Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm. During performances, visitors can also enjoy the artwork while relaxing in the Gallery Bar, making it a perfect blend of culture and creativity.
