One of Richmond’s newest historic attractions is embarking on a schedule of works to make a visit even better.

The Station is celebrating its 15th birthday this year, with a raft of improvements to the building planned over the next few months.

These include a full upgrade and refurbishment of the toilet facilities, gallery refurbishment, new windows and glazing, updated signage plus improved facilities for walkers and visitors with dogs.

Richmond had its railway from 1846 to 1969. The Station reopened as a community building in 2007 and is owned and operated by The Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust.
